Psyche Fest

For the first time ever, we’re visiting a metal rock in the sky. 

In 2022, NASA is traveling to the asteroid Psyche. They believe the asteroid was once the core of a planet, offering a unique insight into planet formation and the chance to explore an unseen world. I was tasked with creating an experience that educated audiences about Psyche, while also sparking the public's interest and getting people excited about the mission.

I decided to create a three-day festival to celebrate space exploration, with a particular focus on the Psyche mission. Psyche Fest is a music and art festival that takes festival goers on a cosmic journey through the galaxy. Held in Tempe, Arizona, attendees will dance the night away with artists like Tame Impala and Travis Scott, listen to galaxy-themed talks from speakers such as Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and travel through the cosmos in one of our space projection domes.

With warm colors and graphic elements, I wanted to create a unique contrast between the darkness of space and the warmth of Arizona. With an easy-to-read map, those attending can find their way around the festival with ease, or you can follow our social media to see who’s up next on the main stage.
